CHARACTER
Name: The Doctor (but will sometimes be referred to as Twelve ooc to differentiate)
True Name: The Doctor (Spoilers!)
Canon: From the end of his arc, after he regenerates into the Thirteenth Doctor
Age: 2000+, it's hard to pinpoint but even he will give you a vague answer
History: Wiki

Powers/Abilities:

Regeneration/"Immortality"
The Doctor is a Time Lord which means that he has the ability to regenerate into new bodies with different personalities, quirks, and habits all while keeping the core characteristics of who The Doctor is. Regeneration typically happens at a moment when death would typically occur for a human/anyone else that isn't a Time Lord. Death, as Twelve put it, is the equivalent of the flu.

Physical Abilities
Despite his insect-like frame, Twelve is actually quite skilled at fighting having used Venusian aikido on several occasions. He's got lightning-fast reflexes and is a highly proficient swordsman. This incarnation of him also seems to have a really good sense of smell. He's able to hold his breath for longer than a human can and is able to survive in a vacuum of space for an extended period of time.

Psionic Abilities
The Doctor, like his previous incarnations, has some telepathic abilities which can extend to linking his mind to show people images and memories, clear, wipe, and edit the thoughts and memories of others, and telepathically communicate with someone if he's connected to them some way. He's also been shown to be able to put people to sleep and leave messages for people telepathically from a short distance. If there are people that object to this, we can definitely make sure that the Doctor never uses it on them!

Misc Abilities
It has been shown several times throughout the series that Twelve is able to communicate with other species (and apparently can speak five billion languages) including but not limited to dinosaurs, babies, horses, and donkeys. This version of himself is also a bit of a Macgyver when it comes to inventing things. Despite his name, he isn't a trained doctor of medicine, but does possess limited medical knowledge and has performed an accurate post-mortem before. I'd say in a pinch he would be able to perform some basic first-aid skills. He also plays a killer electric guitar.

Inventory:

If allowed, I'd love if he could have the following on him (with nerfed powers of course to the sonic screwdriver and sunglasses; if you'd like to set out what they can/can't do, let me know otherwise I'm happy to just make them expensive toys):

Job History:

The Doctor doesn't really have a job, per say but has taken up many different jobs, titles and positions over the course of his lifetime as a ruse or as part of a particular job they're working on. Despite the title, he hasn't actually held a medical position but has in fact been the school caretaker at Cole Hill, the President of Gallifrey, and a lecturer at St. Luke's College where he lectured on "almost everything".

Suppressions

What doesn't the Doctor try to repress (short answer: everything)? We'll try to keep it to this particular regeneration of him.

The Doctor in general, believes that he was meant to be a solitary creature. He brings companions on his adventures, creates ties with them but then in end knows that he's destined to end up alone in some way, shape, or form. Despite that he's no stranger to love and wanting to be loved in return. Twelve specifically hides a lot of his softness under a rough and grumpy exterior in order to protect himself from the painful memories of losing people he's cared and loved for in all of his past lives. Most of the time he copes by running away to the next grand adventure in the TARDIS so that he doesn't have to deal with the pain head on, but even he knows that it's inevitable and that it will catch up to him.

Along with the sorrow there's a lot of hate and internalized anger that he buries quite deep. It's been shown over the course of the series that if he's pushed to the edge, it's something horrifying to experience and while he's helped numerous people, there's a lot of blood that he's shed. This particular incarnation of Twelve was more accepting of the loss of some lives for the greater good, and while that changes over the course of his arc, I still think that if he were pushed to the brink, that he would fall back on old habits.

Greatest Fear
: Losing people that he cares for deeply. Loss of life in general was something that Twelve was a little more willing to come to terms with so long as it was for the greater good but he has been shown to go to hell and back to bring someone that he cares for (read: he almost destroyed the universe for Clara).

Greatest Desire: Be kind. It became Twelve's encompassing through line during his arc and a key piece of the advice he gave his next reincarnation before he regenerated. At the beginning he was concerned about being a good or bad man, but eventually came to the conclusion that he was just an storytelling idiot in a big, blue box, just trying to do the decent thing and be kind. There's a desire to leave a place or person better than he found it, and it's a key part of his character despite how he may come across at times.

Greatest Regret: Any unnecessary loss of life. Despite knowing that sometimes it's the only choice, he still doesn't take pleasure in taking anyone's life.

Sample: PSL here!
