CONTACT: Journal PM. Discord upon request and if we've chatted a bit beforehand.

ACTIVITY / TAGGING SPEED: Slow to medium depending on life things. I can usually squeeze in a tag here and there throughout the day since I work from home but most of my tags will likely come in the late afternoon/evening.

PROSE / ACTION: I prefer action tags and write in third person. I'll happily write prose or match your style though!

☆ BACKTAGGING: Absolutely! Real life comes first and can get overwhelming/busy. If I haven't responded in a while, give me a nudge. It's likely that I missed the notification or had it open and forgot to hit send. Game-wise, if threads do extend past a certain point (ie. 3 - 4 months past when it started) with little movement, I'd prefer to handwave and/or discuss outcomes particularly if they're plot-related.

☆ THREADHOPPING: Open to it in the right context (e.g. network posts) and as long as the other folks involved are on board as well. When in doubt, check first!

☆ THREADDROPPING/HANDWAVING: Definitely open to this at any time, for any reason. Happy to handwave and move onto something else that we're both vibing with or plot the outcome of our thread.

☆ FOURTHWALLING: Doctor Who is all about timey wimey, but let's chat about it first.

☆ OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: I'm not interested in playing out anything involving graphic descriptions of torture, rape or underage themes. I'd prefer to skim over graphic depictions of animal or child/elder abuse as well.

☆ PHYSICAL AFFECTION: It's easy to say that this incarnation of the Doctor would err on the side of no physical affection ever. That being said he will hug if he's comfortable with a person and if hugged, expect some kind of awkward response (note: I thoroughly encourage them). Kisses are likely to make him feel just awkward and baffled, but characters are welcome to try.

☆ FLIRTING: Does this look like a man who can flirt? Actually, he probably can (rather awkwardly) but isn't so inclined unless there's some sort long term history/existing relationship with the person on the receiving end.

☆ RELATIONSHIPS & SHIPPING: It's unlikely to happen but, never say never. The Doctor isn't much of a flirt and will likely ignore it. Attractiveness doesn't really mean much to him and he likely glosses over it. I do ship him with Clara and River, but even then romantic relationships will take time to develop and I err on the side of a slow burn. Smut is something I'm comfortable writing in AU's but I'm also comfortable with fading to black. It's unlikely to happen in canon or in games.

☆ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Happy to have the Doctor knocked around a little bit. He's pretty handy with a sword and defensive combat. He can hold his own despite appearances. This reincarnation of the Doctor won't ever murder out of cold blood, but is more inclined to hurt someone if they're trying to hurt others or the options are limited.

☆ DEATH: Death is like the flu to a Time Lord. Definitely open to this but I'd prefer to have some discussion about this beforehand.

☆ MANIPULATION: Characters are welcome to try. The Doctor has a tendency to lie but not always for malicious reasons. As kind and compassionate as he can be, he can manipulate a situation so that the outcome is something he deems right and/or the best possible scenario.

☆ PSYCHIC & PSIONIC INFORMATION:The Doctor has very strong mental abilities and walls. Any mindreaders would have difficultly getting past them. Surface level feelings might be able to picked up here and there, but will largely sound like echoes and whispers, and are hard to grasp.

Empaths or those that can pick up auras will be met with a fog that feels like they're falling through space. Heightened feelings like joy or sorrow might peek through every so often and they'll peek through the fog as flashes of bright gold or a deep blue. .

☆ OFFENSIVE SUBJECTIVES & TRIGGERS: The best way to get on the Doctor's bad side is to senselessly kill. Expect a negative reaction towards acts of mass murder/genocide and general disregard for human life.
